This is an electronic version of my experience at San Francisco State University where I received a Masters in Public Health. As you browse through this portfolio you will be able to see the work I have accomplished between Fall 2004-Spring 2007. My educational experience allowed me to work with youth communities, assist in program planning and develop educational trainings. As a native San Franciscan born to native Mexican parents, I embrace working with diverse communities. I received my Bachelors of Science from SFSU in Community Health Education and have worked in the healthcare field since 1996. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I was privileged to work within the Medi-Cal Managed Care field. My professional career allows me to provide health education services to low-income communities of color and explore ways to improve services to communities in a way that is culturally responsive. Enjoy! Please contact me if you have questions.
